🗣️ Xabi Alonso on why Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer has struggled in matches against the Premier League’s so-called ‘Big Six’, scoring just three times in 18 matches in all competitions:
“For sure, everyone needs to show their best level in all the games. But in the big ones, sometimes it’s harder because the opponents have good qualities, because of the quality of the game.
“We need to support the attackers so that they get the ball in the right place, so that they are involved, so they are connected to the game and Cole, with the rest, needs to play a good game tomorrow.”
