โThatโs what we want, thatโs what he wants. Itโs not just about right now that he has scored five goals.
โFrom the first day of pre-season we spoke about that, the next step that he wanted, and he started really well with the pre-season and this season as well. So itโs about continuing.
โWhen you want to become a top striker in this league, you need to be ready in each game to have your impact. Heโs having it and we need that he keeps going.
โSo far, and before this, I could see him scoring lots of goals, and heโs in a good moment. He will have a very good season because heโs hungry for that and heโs scoring goals.
โHe wants to be in the box and wants to help the team around the box as well. Heโs very complete. I really like the way he plays and the way heโs connecting with his team-mates.โ

๐ฃ๏ธ Xabi Alonso on Chelseaโs 2-0 win over Everton [A] in the Premier League:
๐ค โWe are very happy with the result and the performance.
โWe needed one of these wins away, where we have played very professionally and seriously, looking solid. It was a very good win. We got many things right.
โWe looked in control of the game, there were moments for sure when we had to defend, especially in the first half, but overall the team looked mature, knew what to do in each moment, and knew weโd have our own moment. That happened in the second half.
โAfter that, we were good with the ball, creating chances and not conceding much. To win away is always tough, and we got the clean sheet. We knew it was a matter of time and finally we got it.โ
๐ช ๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ:
โWe need to keep working; itโs just one game.
โOne [clean sheet this season] would be very poor; we need to get many more clean sheets in the rest of the league games.
โThe first of the season feels good, so we have to keep going in this way, working well and being serious, and knowing that wherever we go we can play in an efficient and professional way, as we did today.โ
