The 24-year-old forward joined Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer for a deal in excess of ยฃ50 million and signed a seven-year contract that runs until 2032.
The Brazil international is now set to be rewarded with extended terms.
Pedro is understood not to be the only Chelsea player expected to get a fresh agreement in place in the coming weeks.

๐ค โIt was an intense competitive game, for sure. We wanted to win and to lose is not something we like, but itโs a pre-season game and we have missed a few chances.
โIn the first half, it was very competitive, really even, and in the second half we were close to scoring that [winning goal]. But it was a good pre-season game, great crowd and atmosphere, and we were unlucky to concede that late goal to lose.
โIn any game you think you can do better, but it is part of the process: to learn the things we can do better, the things we have done well, and the place we are now.
โItโs normal we have these moments. But the result is not the most important thing now; itโs the performance, itโs 75 minutes for many players, which was the plan and we respect that.โ

He began his career with @ManchesterUnited and established himself as a key figure under Sir Alex Ferguson, winning the Premier League, twice lifting the League Cup and Community Shield, and claiming the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup.
The 35-year-old moved to @Arsenal_london in September 2014 and spent five seasons with the north London side. He scored 32 goals in 126 outings and won the FA Cup and Community Shield with the Gunners before moving onto Watford and then Brighton.
Welbeck made more than 200 appearances for the Seagulls and remained a consistent Premier League goalscorer, with 26 goals struck in the top-flight over the past two seasons.
The striker, who has been capped 42 times by England netting 16 times, will join up with Xabi Alonsoโs squad during the pre-season tour.
