𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with Aston Villa to sign winger Morgan Rogers. ⁠

It’s understood a bid of £117 million has been accepted, although the deal is still being finalised.

Personal terms are in place on a six year contract through to 2032 with the option of a further 12 months, and a medical is scheduled for Monday.

Rogers, 23, wants to move to Chelsea, with new manager Xabi Alonso and the club’s project a major appeal.

Arsenal were also interested in a move for the England international, but he has chosen Chelsea as his preferred destination.

He moved to Villa Park from Middlesbrough in February 2024 for an initial fee of £7m plus a further £8m in add-ons, and the Championship club also has a 20 per cent sell-on clause as part of that deal.

Shakhtar Donetsk have approached Chelsea about the possibility of playing their home Champions League games at Stamford Bridge in 2026-27.

Shakhtar have also approached Fulham and Brentford. It would give the chosen club the opportunity to bring in some extra revenue because Shakhtar will pay them a fee. 🇺🇦

🚨 Chelsea beat Crawley 3-1 today. Goals from Gittens, Delap and Emegha on his Chelsea debut. Youngsters involved such as Reggie Walsh, Reggie Watson, etc. Dastan Satpayev came on at HT.

Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli and Landon Emenalo started out of Chelsea’s youngsters. Reggie Watson, Reggie Walsh, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, Calvin Diakite, Genesis Antwi and Dastan Satpayev came on at half-time. Gittens scored the opener and it was 1-0 at HT with the rest of the goals coming in the second half. The game was played at Cobham.
