💪 “It’s definitely a bigger challenge, working in the Premier League and with the level of opposition you’re playing against.

“I’d like to think I’ve worked hard throughout my whole career, whether it was being an Under-11s coach, whether it was being an U15s coach, whether it was U18s or U21s.

“I’ve always worked really hard to make sure I’ve given the players everything they need to be successful. It’s a bigger challenge in terms of the level. But you have to work hard in this job - it’s a demanding job.

“When you mention the family, it’s nice, because it’s been such a crazy six months. It’s nice to still have that bit of normality when you go home. They’ve been massive and really helpful when you need to take a break, when you need to switch off from it. That is so helpful in those moments.

“But I’ve enjoyed the challenge, the pressure and the demands. I’m just trying to do the best job I can for the club, for the fans, for the players. I’ve enjoyed it.”

“I don’t know the exact years, but [the FA Cup is] one of the oldest and most prestigious competitions in world football. Everyone remembers watching it in the morning, the build-up, three, four-hour build-up, all the pass replays.

“Being at Chelsea, you remember that [Roberto] Di Matteo scored 30, 40 seconds into the game. I’ve obviously taken one game against Leeds [in the semi-final]. I’ve obviously had loads of games in the Youth Cup, not won it, but had loads of games in the Youth Cup. So, yes, it’s a massive competition. We’re all really proud to play in this.”
