STARTING XI:
Jorgensen - 6.5: Was good with his feet and solid throughout. Positioning arguably could have been better for the goal however.
Cucurella - 8.5: Was a constant threat on the left flank and exploited it well, was unlucky not to create a goal.
Colwill - 8: Chelsea looked so much more assured today and led the back three well. The most defensive contributions today with 11 helped secure that point.
Fofana - 7.5: Looked a lot more comfortable today than in recent weeks. Worked hard particularly in the second half to keep Liverpool at bay.
Hato - 7.5: Looked good in the build-up and again very comfortable on the left side of a back three. His 5 ground duels won add to his impressive second half of the season.
Gusto - 5: Was run ragged in the first half by Ngumoha and was not a threat going forward. Another lacklustre performance.
Caicedo - 7.5: Many rash challenges before Chelsea scored their goal but after the goal he was brilliant, constantly finding Cucurella on the left. Helped Chelsea win the midfield battle and gave a glimpse of his best.
A.Santos - 7: Was assured and solid against a very strong midfield. Defended well throughout in a good display overall.
Fernandez - 7.5: Another big goal in Chelseaโs season and was colossus for the full 90 minutes. Supported Joao Pedro very well with great line breaking passes in the second half.
Palmer - 6.5: Was much more positive going forward and kept the attack ticking for Chelsea after the first goal. Found some great pockets in the midfield and drove with it well in the second 45. Had a goal ruled out for offside.
J. Pedro - 7.5: Hold-up play was phenomenal and found space brilliantly. 5 completely dribbles was the most in the game, and ran the channels well.
SUBSTITUTE:
James - 8: Great to see him back and he looks just as comfortable as he did before the injury. Won all his duels and had 86% pass accuracy which helped Chelsea secure an important point.

โIt could have gone either way, really, at certain moments in that game. Probably, being a little bit biased, we could have won the game. We had some good moments.
โI remember Enzoโs [Fernandez] chance in the first half, [Marc] Cucurella getting into some really good areas, crossing areas, another marginal offside, a penalty that I thought - and I know itโs a tough job for officials - but I think thatโs a clear penalty. So arguably we could have come away with three points.
โThis club needs to win games of football, and we havenโt done that today. Weโre not happy with the form and some of the recent performances, so yeah, itโs nice to have a good, complete performance.

The first 90 minutes, Anfield away, when the team arenโt particularly in their best form, to go and put that level of performance in, it doesnโt only show his level of talent and quality, it shows his mentality. So, Iโm really pleased for Levi, as I am for the whole group and the team.โ
