π£οΈ Liam Rosenior on Chelseaβs 4-1 win over @Aston_Villa [A] in the Premier League:
π βI was very proud of them today.
βWe spoke about responding positively before the game. We had to end the game because, first and foremost, the first attack they scored from a fantastic finish.
βI donβt understand how we donβt get a penalty. The fact that weβve won 4-1 doesnβt change that. Itβs a clear penalty on Reece [James].
βThe maturity of the team, the quality that we played with, it can be better, for sure. But in terms of the spirit and what you want to see in a team, I was really, really pleased with that tonight.β

βHeβs a top player.
βI think heβs growing in confidence. His hold-up play, the energy he puts into the team in terms of his press, his movement.
βHis goal with the left foot is world-class, the finish is magnificent, but actually Iβm really delighted with his two tap-ins that he got. He was in the right place at the right time, weβve worked hard with him on that.
βHe gets the hat-trick, but itβs really hard to single someone out because I felt it was an outstanding team performance. Going through the back line and midfield β Moi [Caicedo], Enzo [Fernandez], Romeo [Lavia] when he came on, [Alejandro] Garnacho β I just felt it was an outstanding team performance.
π ππ§ πππ«π§πππ‘π¨βπ¬ π©ππ«ππ¨π«π¦ππ§ππ:
βThatβs what usually happens when youβre professional and you do everything right on the training pitch.
βHeβs really impressed me in the last few weeks and heβs impressed me the most when heβs been out of the team, because his reaction to being out of the team, his professionalism, the intensity that heβs trained at, itβs no coincidence that heβs gone and performed like that today.
βThatβs the most pleasing thing for me because he deserved that today. He should have got a goal but he was in the right position and I loved how unselfish he was to set up the goal for Joao.β
