๐ฃ๏ธ Liam Rosenior on Chelseaโs 2-2 draw with Leeds United [H] in the Premier League:
๐ค โIt was two key moments in the game that we didnโt take care of, when we didnโt stay calm.
โMoi Caicedoโs a magnificent player, heโs been top for me, but he makes a poor decision. How the play gets there as well, we made a few poor decisions in terms of how we press in that moment and we give away a penalty.
โThe penalty goes in, they hit a few long balls, their energy is up, they pick up a few second balls. The player handballs it, it affects my players in that moment, they think itโs a handball and switch off and donโt clear the ball, they score.
โThen for 25 minutes after that it was wave after wave of attack, but we couldnโt find the goal. We have to just make sure we take care of those moments and be professional. I donโt think itโs about reacting to set-backs. Youโre always going to have a spell in the game when youโre not on top.
โThe ridiculous thing for us is that theyโve managed to score two goals in a five-minute period, when for the other 90 minutes of the game we were by far the better team. We just made poor decisions in key moments.
Some of our football in possession, our press, our energy was everything I want to see, and that makes it even more of a bitter pill to swallow, that we havenโt won the game.
โIf we can just focus and concentrate for 90 minutes, this team has unbelievable potential, which you saw for probably 90 per cent of the game today. I feel like I already know what I want to work on to improve that, itโs just making sure we get the time to do it.โ

โUnfortunately at half-time he felt his hamstring. It wasnโt a tactical change, it was one that was enforced.
โCucuโs been top and hopefully heโll be okay. Weโll scan him and make sure we find out if heโs available for the next game.โ

๐ฅ ๐๐ง ๐ญ๐๐๐ฆ ๐ง๐๐ฐ๐ฌ:
โFor Marc [Cucurella], itโs too early to know [the extent of the injury].
โHeโs definitely out for the game against Hull. Weโre doing our scans and assessments on him and hopefully, itโs not too long [his absence].
โReece [James] has done modified training; but heโs still under the weather. Weโll make a decision on Reece tomorrow, but itโs good news that heโs back on the training pitch.
โIn terms of his injury, heโs absolutely fine. Heโs had a really bad bug but hopefully heโs recovered from that.โ

โMamadou has a great chance to start the game.
โIt's very difficult for a player in January to move clubs. He's only been here for a week, so he needs time to bed in. He needs time to acclimatise, but now I think he's in a really good place and he'll definitely see the pitch at some point on Friday.โ

โNo, it's a tough game. This is going to be a difficult game. I want to do well in this competition. I don't see it any different to a Premier League game or a Champions League game. We're going there with a team that I think will be good enough to win the game. I want to take this game really, really seriously. We're going to have to because they're in good form. They're used to winning games at the moment.โ
๐ฏ ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐:
โFirstly, Hull City is very special to me. My grandma was a season ticket holder. The club means a lot to me for many different reasons.
โWithout Hull, without the experience as a player and manager, I wouldnโt be sat here. I had some amazing times there. Itโs great to see them doing so well in the league. Itโs going to be an emotional one for me to go back.โ

๐ฃ๏ธ Liam Rosenior on his connection with Hull City, as Chelsea face his former side in the FA Cup fourth round:
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน โI donโt want to go into too much depth, but I went to Hull on trial. I was without a contract.
โThe way I told my Nanny Cath, was that I took her to a local Harvester, sat her down, and said: โIโm going to sign for Hull Cityโ. That was amazing.
โShe was a season ticket holder already. Sadly, she passed away. Sheโs buried in a cemetery which is literally less than a mile from the training ground.
โWhen I took the job at Hull, it was pretty much a year to the day we had her funeral. You see Iโm emotional speaking about it. That club means a lot to me. Thereโs a lot of family going up for reunions.
โI swear she [Nanny Cath] had a hand to play in the draw. I want to make sure itโs a happy memory. We really, really need to go there and win the game because itโs really good to see them doing so well in the league.
โI used to go to Hull when I was a little boy and in the summer holidays when she lived there. I grew up there in my summer holidays. I went to Boothferry Park in the summer to watch them play.
โItโs strange; Iโm from London, but I have a connection with Hull. Hullโs also twinned with Freetown, and Iโm from Sierra Leone. Thereโs a lot of omens with Hull.
โAmazing for me. Amazing for my family to get together. Theyโre going to spend a good night on Friday together as a family, which is difficult because we live so far apart. But, yes, Iโm focused on the game and doing the best I can.โ
