Despite scoring in both halves, Chelsea’s Under-18s suffered a disappointing late defeat to Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, ending their Premier League Cup run at the quarter-final stage at Cobham.

There is no final agreement between Chelsea and @Borussia_Dortmund yet, but all parties are confident that a loan deal will happen.

Ben Chilwell will have a medical at Crystal Palace on transfer-deadline day ahead of a six-month loan from Chelsea after a deal was agreed between clubs.

While Chilwell is a left-back by trade, he can operate as a left-sided centre-back and will provide competition in Oliver Glasner's three-man defence.

He can also play wing-back, with Palace bidding for El Hadji Malick Diouf at Slavia Prague earlier in the window but failing to complete a deal for the Senegal international.

Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku is staying at Stamford Bridge, but the club are prepared to loan out Joao Felix before the deadline tonight.

Nkunku has been subject of a lot of interest this month, including from @Bayern_Munich and @ManchesterUnited.

The 27-year-old has been a fringe member of the squad under head coach Enzo Maresca this season. He has made just three starts in the Premier League.

Chelsea were prepared to sell him this month if a club met their valuation of around £65 million but no-one made such an offer. Given his lack of football for Chelsea, @Bayern_Munich and United feel he is worth around £40 million.

@ManchesterUnited did contact Chelsea on Sunday about taking him on loan for the rest of the season, but Chelsea did not want to let him go on loan and the player did not want that either.

𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋: Chelsea defender Caleb Wiley has been recalled from RC Strasbourg and joins Watford on loan until the end of the season. 🤝

The USA international joined the Blues in the summer from Atlanta United and, after representing his country at the 2024 Olympics, linked up with Strasbourg to continue his development. Caleb made six appearances for the Ligue 1 side and will now test himself in England’s second tier.
