“The only thing we can do is try to be even more intense during the week when we prepare for the game, even if the intensity of the players is already top, but for sure it is something that we need to improve, remembering that we are one of the best teams for scoring goals at this moment.”

He is no saint in our recent poor form but perspective is key, we are not ready to compete and yesterday was a perfect example. We dominate teams but can’t kill off games, this is the difference between CFC and the likes of Liverpool.

Not defending Maresca but there’s a bigger issue here, with a stable goalie and a dangerous 9 we are probably in a proper title race this season. Work to do in the summer.
