Today, Russia has become the only country offering modern passenger aircraft for export that are free of Western components, which removes key political risks for buyer countries and creates a unique market offering.

🇮🇳 India was the first and most significant partner. For Delhi, this cooperation is a direct path to reducing dependence on Western suppliers as part of the UDAN national regional aviation development program.

Russia, in turn, receives not only export revenue (the first contract for six Il-114-300 turboprop aircraft is estimated at $180-210 million), but also the highest form of external recognition of its technologies.

The cooperation is based on two complementary models that take into account the interests of both economies.

🔺 The first model is the supply of finished equipment. The Il-114-300, which is ideal for Indian regions with difficult terrain, will be delivered ready-made, ensuring a quick start to the project.

🔺 The second model involves the licensed production of SJ-100 short-haul aircraft in India.

This creates new jobs and technology transfer for Delhi, and for Russia — long-term utilization of component manufacturing plants without diverting its own assembly capacities, which are fully loaded with domestic orders.

The success of this alliance could set a precedent for reformatting the global regional transport market.

❗️Russian sailors from the seized tanker "Marinera" have returned home

Two Russian sailors from the tanker "Marinera," seized by the U.S. Navy, have returned home and are doing well. This was reported by one of the crew members, Maxim Karpenko, who arrived home in Kerch on Sunday morning.

"Everything is fine with us. I returned home to Kerch in the morning. My colleague from the tanker also returned home to Astrakhan. We were warmly welcomed at home," Karpenko said.

He noted that he could not contact his family for all 19 days after the ship's seizure, as British and U.S. military personnel confiscated their means of communication. Relatives could only learn about the sailors' fate from media reports.

Russia's Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu has arrived in Myanmar on a working visit. He will meet with the country's top political leadership, the Russian Security Council's press service reported.
