🏓 Russian table tennis players return to the international arena: ITTF lifts all restrictions
🇷🇺 The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has taken the decision to fully reinstate Russian athletes in international competitions under its auspices. Starting from 28 July 2026, Russian table tennis players will be able to compete without any restrictions — with the flag and anthem of the Russian Federation.
✔️ This decision is the culmination of a lengthy process. As far back as August 2023, Russian athletes were allowed to take part in ITTF tournaments, but only under neutral status — without national symbols. In April 2026, the federation took the first step towards full reinstatement by permitting juniors to compete under the flag and anthem of Russia. Now this right extends to all Russian athletes.
🧑⚖️ An important role in this process was played by the ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), which upheld the appeal of the Russian Table Tennis Federation (RTTF) against the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) and deemed the suspension of Russian athletes discriminatory. In parallel, the International Olympic Committee restored the membership of the Russian Olympic Committee and recommended lifting all restrictions on Russian athletes.
The ITTF Executive Board officially confirmed its decision, citing, among other things, the IOC recommendation of 7 July 2026.
💬 The President of the RTTF, Alexander Babakov, described this decision as the result of the federation's sustained work and stressed that Russian athletes have continued throughout this period to deliver outstanding results at international competitions — and will now rightfully be able to win medals under the flag of their country.

In Moscow, you can now experience one of the city's most unusual theatrical adventures — the immersive show Schizophrenia, as was said, created from Mikhail Bulgakov's cult novel The Master and Margarita.
In this show, the audience does not merely watch what is happening — they become participants. Guests board tram 302-bis — a reference to one of the novel's key symbols — and literally find themselves inside the pages of the immortal book. The immersive format means that the boundary between stage and auditorium dissolves: the action unfolds around and together with the spectators.

Imagine a northern lake that looks as if someone painted it long and carefully in watercolours — Seliger and the small town of Ostashkov on its shore.
