SAS is planning to resume flights between Larnaca and Stockholm this spring 🇨🇾 🇸🇪.

Flights will operate from 22nd March to 18th October on Saturdays, with additional Tuesday flights from 1st July to 5th August (after that, only Saturdays). Ticket prices start at 76€ one way, depending on the selected date. Tickets available here.

Currently, Norwegian is operating this route, but only until the end of December. Norwegian plans to resume flights from 1st April, with services on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Tickets available here.

Cyprus and the USA are getting closer! 🇨🇾 🇺🇸

Cypriot authorities are in talks to establish direct flights to the USA. In July, active discussions began with Delta Air Lines regarding flights between the two countries. Other airlines are also being considered.

Additionally, Cyprus is close to joining the US Visa Waiver Program. It is expected that by the end of this year or early 2025, Cypriot citizens will be able to visit the US without a visa, using just an electronic passport.

✈️ Paphos Airport Expansion!

Paphos Airport is preparing for significant changes - its reconstruction is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2025 and will last approximately 18 months. The project includes the construction of an additional taxiway and an expansion of the existing terminal building, increasing the airport’s capacity to 5 million passengers annually.

It has been stated that the expansion will be carried out in accordance with all environmental standards and with minimal impact on the surrounding environment. For example, the project includes measures to control air quality and prevent soil and water pollution.
