To create bitcoin involved nearly two decades worth of study, learning, trial and many failures. It involved over thirty SANS courses that between the training and exams and sometimes travelling to the United States to take them cost me around $8,000- $10,000 a course.

For those of you who have student loans. For those of you who have children going through university courses. British, Australian and American universities are not free.

The knowledge that I needed to create bitcoin involved completing eight postgraduate degrees and numerous professional certifications and qualifications.

When you think about your student loan. When you think about the college fund for your kids, please consider what it means to do eight postgraduate degrees in order to gain the required knowledge. I want you to imagine what other things I could do with my life if I had invested that money over the two decades that I was studying and researching all of the background knowledge required to make bitcoin.

I have several US Masters degrees. These can cost and did cost in the order of $60,000 to $100,000 each. I have British degrees as well. For those in the UK, you will understand that completing a degree in Britain is not cheap either. Remember also that I did it as an international student at the time, which means double the fees of a local student.

Over a period of a little over ten years, I spent over US$1 million gaining the required education. That figure includes the travel I needed back and forth to the various countries, the materials and courseware that I needed, and the books.

When I launched bitcoin, nobody thought it would work. Even people like Hal Finney, who was instrumental in the early days in ensuring that this kept running, did not really believe in it and thought it was flawed.

I was a director at BDO on partner track. As a director, I was on a six-figure salary fifteen years ago. If I had stayed in an accounting firm, I would have become a partner a long-term ago, and a partner salary is a seven-figure sum.

When I left full-time employment to work on bitcoin, I gave up earning a lot of money. On top of that, the early days of maintaining the network and trying to promote it took up a lot of time every week. Further, I was trying to build commercial applications that would use bitcoin. I was trying to market some of these two organisations like Hoyts and Centrebet.

My first marriage fell apart during this. I don’t have any blame for that, but I can understand and understand why. Wives have this habit of not appreciating when the husband goes off on a boondoggle project that they fail and waste all of your savings with a 1 in a million chance of success on a digital cash system. That was when every digital cash system in the past had failed spectacularly.

So, you see people like Adam Back coming into bitcoin in 2013 and spouting all his crap that he still spouts even though he still has no inkling about what bitcoin is or even cares to learn. After it’s all working lots of people come along wanting to change my system. None of them paid any attention to it until it had money on bucket shop exchanges. And none of them cared to actually come to understand what I was trying to do.

So, when people sit there telling me what I should be doing, what I should have done better, how they think I should have acted, the answer is simple…

Go fuck yourself

When I spent over $1 million of my money gaining the knowledge and education to create the system, think about how little you gave me. Think about how little other people contributed. When you do that, then you can consider whether my getting grumpy as being an asshole or not when people change my bloody system

The system that I've spent half my life developing

Bitcoin is utterly distinct from crypto currency

And that person needed to have the time in 2009 to work on bitcoin uninterrupted for 15 months before others became involved

And, it just happens that my entire life exactly aligns with that of Satoshi... well that is easy...

I am Satoshi

Yes, and that industry needed Blockchain

And Calvin is in my LLM thesis of 2008. I noted the US crackdown on Bodog in my research

Let me make this entirely clear.

The court case is entirely about the origins of bitcoin and Satoshi.

For all the core people out there trying to play this down, there is nothing in this court case if I'm not Satoshi

The issue Is that Ira Kleiman seeks to promote Dave Kleiman as 50% of Satoshi. That is not correct

I don't deny that I had Dave in my life giving moral support and I don't deny that after 2011 we worked together on a few projects

I don't deny that I tried to invite him to work on bitcoin in 2008

I don't deny that I tried to give me contract for work in 2009 that he didn't accept and this led to a venture capital funded company called Greyfog In Australia that produced devices that used the Blockchain in 2009.

However, Dave never accepted the contract as he was too ill and I ended up taking other people who were directors and shareholders in that company including John Keeble and others in the venture ( vulture) capital field

Crypto dies this year.

Digital cash will finally rise.

You should ask Cobbie if he will pay his bills, after all... there is a passing off claim he has a part in for his deception.

Intentional Passing off will be far more damaging than those who can show it was unintential.

But, the issue is that there is not enough USD in the space to cover such a claim...

Oh. And you cannot be an anonymous dev

Github...

You know, they can just switch ownership

As stated, I don't plan on destroying BTC (just to bring the more radical elements to heal and to eradicate the anarchist element with extreme prejudice).

BTC will accept a licence deal.

They can stay digital gold (meh) and help fund digital cash, globally to the world

Gold does not go up in value endlessly

Question from MP:
"will you allow them to keep using the β€˜Bitcoin’ name?"

Maybe, Bitcoin, digital gold edition

Coinbase already knows my finger is on a big red button.

And, if they force me to press it, they vanish.

They treated mercy as weakness. Now they will bend the knee as I hold a sword.

Right now, to understand this, read up on Dionysius II of Syracuse,

They are a certain courtier.

BTC, Bitcoin digital gold edition (licensed under agreement with Wright International Investments Ltd).

Maybe with a disclaimer on how they copied without permission and now miners will provide a tithe to a charity of my choosing...

Following the trial, nChain will be progressing in a different direction. The company will be producing and releasing more software and likely going into acquisition mode in the new year. One significant change that will start to happen is that we will be producing more white papers and academic material for publication. Thus, while we will continue to invent and patent new technology, we shall also be publicly visible and, as with the paper above, will be publishing the results of our research team in academic forums and conferences and journals and the strategy we used in the past.

Pool mining does not decentralise bitcoin.

It is just a patina of decentralisation, a sham

A pool is a single node that deceives people to thinking they are mining just as they help supply a little hash power.

These systems solve a hash puzzle

Pool mining is a single node that leases ASIC systems from noobs

Before tomorrow, I want to say thank you for everyone who has supported me.

Over moneybutton, Centbee, handcash, email, WhatsApp etc, a little over 70,000 people have sent me messages of support.

I am sorry for not being able to reply, there are too many messages and people

And, everyone here.

I promise that I will make sure that all I promised occurs, not instantly, but when the best long term results can be achieved.
