What you have to start to understand is that the concept of an anonymous transaction system on bitcoin is an anathema to all that I stand for. Consequently, without the knowledge and system being implemented to ensure that bitcoin can be frozen by law enforcement, I would prefer to have nothing to do with it.

If you think that I’m going to go into either American or British court and tell a judge that I can prove them Satoshi because I can sign a key, then you are a fucking idiot with your head up your ass.

You see, under American law, and this has been determined by the Supreme Court, nobody can order me to give up a key. Even if I had them it wouldn’t be an option available to the court.

Which is the real thing here, I don’t need to do that. I don’t need to sign anything to have bitcoin recovered and I don’t need to sign something to prove that an Satoshi nor would that be a good indication. If you think it is then you’re either a moron or stuck in a humble bunch of lies and too dumb to get out.

Do you really want to live in a world where someone can frame people by giving them keys? Do you want your identity to be based on the possession of a digital file?

None of these things are happening but what I will say is that courts in America and Britain have ordered developers to change an update code. The case I put on the slack the other day concerning peer-to-peer networks demonstrates just what I’m talking about.

If I completely utterly win and Ira is completely discredited (fairly likely) and gets nothing and every coin is noted to be mined by the jury, it still moves by court order.

there is no outcome in this case that does not involve BTC being forced by US Federal Court to be frozen and then recovered

zero chance

Because if this doesn’t work out then I would burn everything to the ground before it continues. But, I don’t need to because it’s not encrypted.

I don’t want to see a system exist that allows people to sell drugs to children and get away with it and what they are trying to do is create such a system on top of bitcoin.

If I had the keys in my pocket right now, and hit them with a hammer.
As I said, the only way this ends is with a court order and every government official on earth and every law enforcement official on earth and every court on earth and every lawyer on earth starting to understand that there is no encryption on bitcoin and they have been conned for a decade.

You seem not to be getting this.

There is no chance that the coins are not moving by court order. Zero. The only thing that might change that is an unknown asteroid suddenly destroying the earth before the case ends. I have discounted that completely

There is no way that I will set a precedent that keys equal identity. Identity is defined in the whitepaper as being firewalled. Identity is not your keys. Read my bloody paper. Read some more. Read the entire Western canon for the last 2000 years.

To set the record straight

There is no outcome that will not have coins recovered by court order, none.

And he won't

So what

I will say what is owned categorically in court

This entire thing is about the bitcoin and it is about my identity

Twiter fools downplay this

And they are fools

There is no option, there is no outcome, there is no imaginal other way that this will play out other than the court assigning the keys.

the deceentralised node bullshit ends

quite frankly, I will donate everyone of the coins to the jury and the court before I see any other option other than the court reasssigning ownership

next, this complete bullshit about not being able to do this is complete and utter crap

the developers other fiduciaries on the network

the case I posted the other day is frrom the US Supreme Court

peer-to-peer developers do not get a get out a free from jail card

they have no extra rights they are just a partnership

bitcoin is not located in Third World countries that nobody can touch, it is a system runin locations that are subject to the rule of law and governments have the ability to act

tthis is what is coming out of November

this is what you can thank Ira for

It is a jury decision

If there is an issue with law, and, it won't be

Ira is subject to another case when this ends

My Ex wife has a case on his fraud

As soon as this case ends, ira is crushed

BTC will be subject to law - and there will be no forks to stop this.

There is already good law from the Supreme Court in the US and the High Court in Britain detailing software orders. Suppose an order is given for a company or partnership or a group. The individuals who obtain that either split off into some other group or someone else even unconnected to the first one takes up the challenge and decides to violate the court order. In that case, this is a contempt of court, and it ends in criminal contempt where people are punished by going to prison.

There are no anonymous groups.

There are no anonymous developers. Everything here is public and not on the dark web. There is nothing that anybody involved cannot stop or be stopped from doing.

The entirety of the myth around crypto is based on lies and deception.

bitcoin is not encrypted in bitcoin is not a Cryptocurrency

no Blockchain can ever be a true Cryptocurrency

this year there will be no further debates on this topic

it will be categorically demonstrated

You cannot prove you are a person using something such as a key. A key can be taken, handed off, copied etc.

It is about time everyone started to get this through their thick skulls - KEYS ARE NOT EVER A PART OF PROOF.

And Bitcoin does not stand for identity - hence firewall

The identity exists - but not in bitcoin

Remember, any fork is ALSO property of the same owners, and hence, is subject to the same orders.

This means, law is law, code is just code humans write.

If you fork, then it remains subject to the same order.

You cannot copy the existing database and do that - that is contmpt

You can start from scratch - and have NO existing coins and build a new alt.

A reboot is just a new system... meh

And, not, they CANNOT exist

And more - if they copy it is always in breach

It is a constructive senario designed to avoid the court

This is what an order covers

The only reason for a fork is to avoid a court order - thais is a breach

This entire discussion is about court orders

And, exchanges losAn exchange or miner that violates a court order loses access to banking and worse, will be blocked from the global Internet. I want you to think about this for a moment. When a company no longer has access to the Internet, a domain, an IP address, routing all banking services….

How do they operate?

All of this hubris about “nobody can get me” touted by crypto anarchists is complete and utter bullshit

Do you know what happens to companies like Coinbase if they decide to breach a court order by listing a fork designed specifically to violate a court order?

A nice listed public company like Coinbase.

Every single exchange is easy to control. But start with a simple thought experiment here. Start with regulated exchanges. The argument that they can bridge a court order and list any coin that forks to avoid a court order is rather asinine when you think about it.

To give you an idea of what happens to Coinbase or any other exchange that ever decides to take any coin listed on their system that violates a fork. Not the ones they are asked to recover but any coins from any individual including those that of mined newly. So let’s put it this way, the tokens within bitcoin are fungible. Those violating a court order are going to have to give them up to pay for other things. Do you think miners will mine when they cannot exchange for value.

Do you think exchanges will list forks when that means that they will no longer be able to be licensed, operate in the Western world, exchange for US dollars in any form including tether

just think it through

I think differently than most people so I’m going to break this down very simply. I posted some links to court cases in the US the other day. Because of peer-to-peer network issues in a period twenty years ago, the Supreme Court held that developers can be liable for peer-to-peer software. Now, the bit everybody seems to be missing is how do you stop everyone.

I have made the point innumerable times that bitcoin is a small world network and hence both exchanges and miners require large-scale highly connected networks.

If you start to think about what that means, it requires DNS. It requires IP addressing. Not Tor level but commercial grade Internet.

All of these can be cut off the Internet. Think about what an exchange can do if it violates court orders and is no longer connected to the Internet.

I know that people have these false ideas about satellites and the use of the TOR network, but the reality is only one sort of node matters on the bitcoin network for processing, and that is the miner.

Any miner thing to use either the Blockstream crippled satellite system or the TOR network will find that they cannot adequately process transactions and very quickly find that they are not competitive. The highly connected small-world network of bitcoin was designed for a purpose. It was designed so that people cannot create the system that they seem to want. It was designed to deliver the system I wanted.

Ask Calvin about domains.

Trust me; domain seizure is simple. When I was doing work for various copyright agencies, including RIAA and other related organisations in Australia, courts ended up seizing domains and servers very frequently.
