Hyde v Wrench[1]demonstrates that a counter-offer amounts to a rejection of the original offer. In contracts formed by email, it is essential to ensure that the contract has been concluded and not that a counter offer remains. Stevenson v McLean[2]shows us that a counter-offer should be distinguished from a mere request for information as occurs commonly in email requests.

The reason that I called my trust and some of the companies Tulip is directly related to the change in a commodity to a speculative derivative. The truth of the Tulip bubble was that the contracts being issued were a pure future contract on a commodity. The government officials who had speculated on these looked to lose a lot of money. Consequently, those officials changed the nature of the contract from a futures contract into an option. In doing this, they had the right not to pay.
If you think about an options contract is worth far far less than a futures contract. I won’t go into the pricing models, but a paper by Amin and Jarrow (1992) documents some of the issues.
Amin, K. I., & Jarrow, R. A. (1992). Pricing Options On Risky Assets In A Stochastic Interest Rate Economy 1. Mathematical Finance, 2(4), 217-237.
The introduced legislation altered the value of saving the government official from bankruptcy but equally collapsed the entire market.
Few people understand this, but as Thompson (2007) demonstrates, tulipmania was just a period when futures contracts had been converted into option exercise contracts worth a fraction of the original value.
Thompson, E.A. The tulipmania: Fact or artifact?. Public Choice 130, 99–114 (2007). https://doi.org/10.1007/s11127-006-9074-4
From the myth about tulipmania, the lie and falsities that people promote, when you look at this, you start to see how important stable commodities really are. Changing commodities and the contracts around them can collapse economies.

So people know.
I do interviews because other people want me to. I have no real interest in doing any interviews ever. I do it because other people talked me into it.
However, if you are a complete rude asshole and shithead who can’t respect other people’s time enough to turn up on time and not cancel, not postpone, your first of all a rather shit journalist and secondly, I won’t be dealing with people who do that.
The simple PR answer is that if you’re not willing to be here on time, go fuck yourself. Then, when I win the case in Florida and win the other ones if you expect to have an interview with me, the answer is very simple, go fuck yourself because forty years from now, I still won’t interview with you.

S. Aaronson, MIT
“If P = NP, then the world would be a profoundly different place than we usually assume it to be. There would be no special value in ‘creative leaps,’ no fundamental gap between solving a problem and recognizing the solution once its found. Everyone who could appreciate a symphony would be Mozart; everyone who could follow a step-by-step argument would be Gauss.”
The aspect that people don’t understand is that many forms of mathematical problems are insoluble. Unfortunately, we cannot even tell which ones are insoluble, just that there must be some that are insoluble.
My personal comprehension of how P=NP? is represented is because of insolubility. Basically, as mathematics advances, we will find more, but there will always be NP complete problems. As a consequence, there will always be the question as to whether P and NP are the same, and unless we have a solution to each problem, we will not know. The difficulty will be that we don’t know all the questions, and we cannot know all the questions and hence will never answer that problem.

I’ve stated this before and will say it again for anyone who is new.
Please don’t ask me for a job in this forum. If you believe that you can become an entrepreneur, then please do. However, you are not owed anything. The world doesn’t owe you were living; I don’t owe you a living, nobody owes you money, and if you can’t sell your idea, this is how capitalism works. If you can’t get your idea across, you can either spend your own time and money promoting it or do something else.
If you’re not able to get a job, look at your skill sets and look at what you’re aiming for. One of my first jobs was gutting chickens. I did that in the morning, I worked as an apprentice chef at night, and I put myself through school early on before moving on to other things.
Someone else having property or a company or money doesn’t give your right to it. The thing is, if you had a right to it, it wouldn’t exist.
There is a hierarchy in place in nChain and other things I’m involved with for a reason. Bureaucracy is necessary for any corporation. All aspects of how you believe the world can work without hierarchy and bureaucracy if you believe this is complete bullshit. Get over it. The reality is that humans are hierarchical social creatures. No matter what we do, we will always form social hierarchies no matter how much we have.
For businesses to work, it is necessary for people to be at different levels and have different roles, ending up in a hierarchical structure. Google ran around saying how they would have a flat structure. It failed. They are now more hierarchical than most places. The reason isn’t that the big bad corporate people came in and ruined it but is rather it is the only way that works.
Some people here go into the boundary of what I would call friends. The majority of the art, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like you. The definition of a friend and what people seem to think occurs online are two different things. Because I am friendly does not mean that suddenly we were best buddies and I will do anything for you.
I give a lot of my time to many people. The time I spend here educating is time that I could spend on other things. You may waste your time, I don’t know, but I rarely do. The time that I have is working, studying, and spending a good my family in that order.
So, please note that when you take my time, you’re not taking it from my work and not taking it from my study. So, as a consequence, please learn to be a little bit respectful. I’m not saying this to everyone here, and many of you are, but others need to learn limits.
I made over $20 an hour gutting chickens, late 80s.
Pay was good if you worked as part was by volume. The base was 3.45 per hour. So, kill yourself and earn more.
But cold, 3 Celsius
And, your hands always stank.
But, I could work 12 hours a week and fund uni and also pay the loan for my medical expenses

I’m going to make a couple of other things clear here. The reason being that this is the only form of social media that I interact with. And, when I say that, I mean it. If you see me on anything else, it is not me.
If you want to call people in this group sycophants because they are polite, you should leave. There is a distinction between sycophantic people and those who are respectful and polite; they are not in any way the same. If you don’t understand that, I don’t particularly want you around here. If you’re not willing to learn and be respectful while learning, don’t bother being here.
So that I make this completely clear, if you argue that people are sycophantic because they’re respectful, the answer will be that I boot you or rather have someone boot you.
I’m not mentioning names here, so if this makes you feel bad, maybe you should consider it to be a learning experience. I have no interest in Mollycoddling snowflakes.
I have no interest in entitled people. If you think that because people have said shit about me on Twitter that this means I need to be nice to you and suck up to you, honestly fuck off.
If you think I need you. Then again fuck off.
If you think that I owe you. Go fuck yourself.
If you think that you can do better than my invention, fuck off and do something by yourself, you lazy fucking asshole.
And, if you think that I’ve got to be nice to you, think again, you fucking self-indulgent Falcon snowflake.
This is not aimed at everybody and, in fact, is aimed at very few people but equally, I wanted to be something that people understand because I am sick and tired of people who feel entitled and think that they can just come along and say that I need to do things for them or help them because they’re so special. You’re not.
