A Blockchain is not as some people call it a chain of blocks.
A Blockchain is an open auditable public data structure. There is no such thing as a private Blockchain and anyone trying to tell you that is either one an idiot to a complete con artist. There is no middle ground. I admit that most people are just idiots.
The entire structure of what a Blockchain is derived from the original concepts that were called time chain and other things and requires publication of all the hash information. In keeping that secret, you no longer have a secure structure. It is like allowing the person who is creating fraudulent books to tell you whether they are fraudulent.
Bitcoin isn’t about cryptography. Yes, cryptographic algorithms are used to simplify some of the processes but, it is not the hashes that keep bitcoin secure. As I have said many times, the binary tree structure or as it is commonly called Merkel tree is less secure than a single hash of the entire structure.
