Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia Dec. 30, 2023-Jan. 02, 2024 CIT Volunteer Summary

As a result of strikes, one person was killed in the Kherson region, and nine more were injured in the city of Kherson. One person was killed and three more were injured during the shelling of the village of Veletenske. In the village of Novokairy, one person was injured, and in the village of Tokarivka, another person was also injured. Due to an artillery strike on the urban-type settlement of Komyshany, one person was injured, and during the shelling of the urban-type settlement of Bilozerka, one person was injured.

In the Kharkiv region, two people were killed as a result of an MLRS strike on the urban-type settlement of Borova. In the town of Chuhuiv, three people were injured due to a strike. One person was killed during the shelling of the urban-type settlement of Dvorichna. As a result of missile strikes on the city of Kharkiv, one person was killed and 52 more people were injured.

In the Sumy region, as a result of a loitering munition strike on the village of Esman, two people were killed and another was wounded.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, as a result of RuAF strikes, one person was injured in the urban-type settlement of Stepnohirsk, and three more people were wounded in the town of Huliaipole. One person was injured in the town of Orikhiv due to a glide bomb strike.

In the Donetsk region, two civilians were killed—one in Avdiivka and another in the village of Prohres. As a result of missile strikes, two people were killed and another 16 were wounded in the town of Selydove. Two people were injured in the town of Pokrovsk, two in the town of Toretsk and one in the urban-type settlement of Niu-York. Other incidents include one person killed in the urban-type settlement of Pivdenne, one killed and another injured in the urban-type settlement of Ocheretyne, two killed in the town of Chasiv Yar, and one person wounded in the town of Krasnohorivka.

In the Odesa region, in the city of Odesa, one person was killed and eight more were injured as a result of loitering munition strikes.

In the Kyiv region, two people were killed and 49 others were injured as a result of strikes on the city of Kyiv.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was injured in the Nikopol district as a result of loitering munition strikes, and three people were injured due to loitering munition and artillery strikes on the city of Nikopol.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, four people were killed and 18 were injured as a result of UAV attacks, as well as artillery and MLRS strikes on the city of Donetsk. One person was killed during the shelling of the city of Horlivka.

In the Belgorod region, Russia, one person was killed and another one was injured as a result of a strike on the village of Krasnoe. One person was killed and five more were injured as a result of an attack on the city of Belgorod.

Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia: Jan. 2-4, 2024 CIT Volunteer Summary

In the Kherson region, two people were injured in the urban-type settlement of Bilozerka as a result of artillery and MLRS strikes. One person was killed during the shelling of the village of Sadove. One person was killed and another was wounded due to strikes on the village of Novotiahynka. In the urban-type settlement of Novovorontsovka, one person sustained injuries, while in the city of Kherson, another person was also injured. Due to mortar strikes and loitering munition attacks on the village of Novoberyslav, one person was injured, and during the shelling of the village of Stanislav, one person was killed and two more were injured.

In the Kharkiv region, one person was injured during the shelling of the town of Kupiansk. Due to a strike on the town of Vovchansk, another person was also injured. As a result of a strike on the village of Morokhovets, one person was killed and another was injured.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, two people were killed during the shelling of the village of Plavni.

In the Donetsk region, as a result of RuAF strikes, one person was killed and four more were injured in Avdiivka. One person was wounded in the town of Hirnyk, and another sustained injuries in the town of Toretsk. One more person was injured in the urban-type settlement of Hostre. During the shelling of the village of Katerynivka, one person was killed and another individual was injured. In the town of Krasnohorivka, one person was killed as a result of a strike.

In the Sumy region, one person was injured due to RuAF strikes on the Velykopysarivskaya community.

In the Mykolaiv region, one person was injured during the shelling of the Chornomorskaya community. A missile strike on the town of Snihurivka resulted in injuries to four more people.

In the Kirovohrad region, one person was killed and eight more were injured due to a missile strike on the town of Kropyvnytskyi.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of artillery strikes and UAV attacks on the city of Nikopol, two people were injured.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, as a result of strikes with munitions dropped from a UAV, three people were injured in the Kirovskyi district of Donetsk. One person was killed and two more were wounded during the shelling of the Kuibyshevskyi district of Donetsk. Due to a strike on Yasynuvata district, one person was also injured near the city of Horlivka.

In the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, two people were injured as a result of strikes on the city of Tokmak. During the shelling of the town of Kamianka-Dniprovska, one person was killed and another one was injured.

In occupied Crimea, one person was wounded during a missile attack on Sevastopol.

In the Belgorod region, Russia, a teenager was injured in the village of Soloti as a result of air defense work.

Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia: Jan. 4-5, 2024 CIT Volunteer Summary

Over the last 24 hours, one civilian was killed and another 21 were injured due to strikes.

In the Kherson region, as a result of RuAF strikes, seven people were injured in the village of Vysoke, and four people were also injured in the Dniprovskyi district of the city of Kherson. Due to a strike on the village of Inhulets, one person was killed and another was injured.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, one person was wounded during a strike on the Kirovskyi district of Donetsk (which, presumably targeted a Russian Msta-S SPH), and as a result of the shelling of the city of Horlivka, four people were also wounded.

In the Belgorod region, Russia, two individuals were injured as a result of strikes on Belgorod. Additionally, during the shelling of the town of Shebekino, one person was injured. In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district near the village of Demidovka, an excavator hit a mine, resulting in an injury to a worker.
