Some Insights into Mobilization in Russia. Part 1
Since the announcement of the "partial" mobilization campaign in Russia, CIT in collaboration with a team of volunteers has been publishing daily updates tracking the mobilization process, as well as the events that unfolded around it. Based on a large body of data collected during this period, we are planning to release a string of publications exploring the Russian mobilization in detail. The first publication will elaborate on the early stages of mobilization, looking into complexities and challenges authorities and mobilized civilians had to face. We will also address the underlying factors that impacted allocation of draftees to training centers, discuss Russia’s military training efforts and capacities, and identify issues most commonly found in training settings.
