🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️- The U.S. strikes on Iranian bridges were aimed at cutting off supply routes to the port city of Bandar Abbas, where Iran has a naval base it uses to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz. - WSJ citing a senior U.S. official.

A major decision has been made in Tehran: if the Jolani government, at the request of Trump and under pressure from the United States, takes action against Hezbollah, it will face direct Iranian missile and drone attacks. This warning has been issued to Jolani.

📝 🇮🇶 🇮🇷 Iraq sanctioning Hezbollah could set the stage for an escalation in the Iran war.

Local tribal groups, PMF units, Islamic resistance cells and any organization affiliated with the Axis of Resistance/Iran could find themselves at war with Iraq's government.

Years of pent up tensions by an emergent Iraqi nationalist scene is waiting for a violent release. They want to direct all their energy towards war with Iran & co.

In parallel to this, further ground actions or attacks may take place by, or in Jolani's Syria and littoral/airborne raids in Southern Iran might occur (the bridges are being blown for a reason). It also depends on how much Syria and Iraq are willing to directly involve their countries in this regional war.

An expanded ground phase of this war, with multiple uniformed militaries may be growing ever nearer.

By the way, even if there is no ground invasion, delaying shipments between cities alone by completely destroying bridges will add an almost unbearable amount of pressure on the settlements.

Goods might be delayed by 1-3 days, prices will obviously increase, some truckers might just refuse to drive on a road where they could get bombed.

Goods delayed by 1-3 days means *you* wouldn't get goods until after 1-3 days, supply might not meet demand. That means local city authorities might have to ration. That means panicking, panicking people are no good, they could do something stupid, etc.

It's shockingly easy to play people against each other, but hopefully the "bridge strikes" aren't severe and can be restored with relatively immediately
