Thus, if one compares the chart of statements by both sides on drone launches against each other, it turns out that, since late 2025, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have come very close to Russian figures in terms of the number of drones launched monthly. Starting in March 2026, they began to surpass the Russian Armed Forces in launches. In March, May and June, the enemy used more drones against Russia than were launched against Ukraine.
This telling trend does not bode well at all for Russian rear infrastructure, above all oil and gas and energy facilities. Ukraine, with the help of supplies from the EU and the US, will inevitably continue to increase the production and use of long-range and medium-range drones, comfortably outpacing the production of Russian air defense systems and missiles for countering such strikes.
Trying to play purely from passive defense, without touching drone production in the rear of Ukraine and its allied countries, while the war drags on for years, may lead to very serious consequences.

US navy Seabees build boat ramps and Arctic huts on Latvia’s coast as Western officials warn of a Moscow attack
Sweden has warned that Russia is drawing up plans to occupy Gotland to test Nato’s response and resolve, while experts say Bornholm could be a target for Russian hybrid attacks aimed at disrupting supply lines.
Western officials suspect Moscow may launch an attack on a Nato Baltic state within the next few years, in what could be an existential test of its willingness to defend the eastern flank.
In addition to building boat ramps, the Seabees were also knocking together wooden Arctic huts, which can serve as temporary billets, storage units or command posts.
About 40 miles to the east, another stalwart of naval logistics – a US marines demolition unit – was road clearing using C4 explosives to blow up obstacles, skills that would be needed to defend against a Russian attack in the Baltic Sea region.
“What we are exercising here is our ability to come to an environment, establish a camp and use that hub as a place to project our combat power,” Lt-Cdr Cody Robertson tells The Telegraph as he oversees construction of huts in Liepāja, a port city on Latvia’s western coast.
A major concern for Latvia, Mr Kažociņš said, was therefore a significant sabotage attack on energy infrastructure that would fall just short of the threshold for Nato invoking Article 5, its mutual defence clause.
Back in Latvia, the Seabees announce that they have arranged an explosive end to the day, and they mean it quite literally.
After watching the last nails being hammered into a Seabee supply hut, The Telegraph is ushered into a bunker and greeted by an American marine demolition expert.
Master Sgt Cory Buckman, who says he likes to stay sharp by blowing something up once a month, then produces a detonator and 1lb 4oz of C4 plastic explosive.
To “cap off” the day, a dummy road blockade is blown to smithereens, as The Telegraph hides behind a concrete wall alongside a few marines sporting pencil moustaches.

⛽️ 🇷🇺 🛢 Russia's fuel crisis spreads to nearly all 89 regions.
Fuel shortages have now affected the vast majority of Russia's 89 regions, prompting many to cap per-customer purchases and ban filling jerrycans.
The causes:
Ukrainian strikes on oil refineries disrupting processing
Scheduled refinery maintenance.
Panic-buying driven by news of attacks, price hikes, and shortages elsewhere.
Seasonal summer demand spikes.
The situation is far worse in Crimea and the occupied territories (DNR, LNR, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson), where shortages stem from strikes on logistics rather than refining.
Fuel simply isn't reaching consumers, or arrives late and in smaller volumes.

📢 🇺🇸 👮♂️ Trump to nominate former Oklahoma state trooper Lance Schroyer as the next ICE director.
📎 Polymarket Intel
I am very pleased to announce that I have nominated Lance Schroyer to be our next ICE Director. Lance has over 29 YEARS of Law Enforcement experience in Oklahoma — A State where I WON all 77 Counties in 2016, 2020, and 2024! Lance is a former Oklahoma State Trooper, and United States Marine. He is a PATRIOT with real operational experience, and proven leader with DECADES of experience locking up the worst of the worst, including spearheading 287g Law Enforcement partnerships with ICE! Lance has firsthand experience getting Illegal Aliens OFF our streets and, just like ME and our Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin, he LOVES the men and women of ICE. Importantly, Lance Schroyer has what it takes to DETAIN AND DEPORT Illegal Alien Criminals, including murders, rapists, and drug traffickers at a rate never seen before! Remember, our Administration has the HIGHEST Daily Arrest Rate by ICE and CBP than ANY other President, by far. It’s not even close! The Senate must CONFIRM Lance, IMMEDIATELY — Do not delay. Together, we will MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP
