"The Great Replacement in Maryland"
Before the passage of the 1965 immigration act the White population of Maryland had held an 80+% share of the overall populace. A share that had been modestly increasing in the post-war era.
The White population remained relatively stable even in the face of the Second Great Migration of African Americans into the North.
However, the Reagan Amnesty, the 1965 immigration act, and mass illegal immigration served to inundate the state with both legal and illegal immigrants.
Today European Whites are just 43.2% of Maryland's population.
The Asian population has increased from zero to 8.1% since the 1970s, the Hispanic population is roughly 12%, and the Black population continues to grow. Fueled by hundreds of thousands of Black immigrants.
These recent immigrants and their hundreds of thousands of children have, combined with internal migration, served to radically transform the Old Line State.
However, a coordinated policy suite to encourage and mandate repatriation could restore Maryland's White majority and open the possibility of strengthening it yet further.

🔶️ American warships have spent a great deal of munitions to intercept Houthi drones and missiles targeting civilian and military ships in retaliation for Israel’s war in Gaza.
🔶️ “Houthi stockpiles appear nowhere near exhausted, even as sporadic US and UK strikes against them continue,” said Behnam Ben Taleblu of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank.
🔶️ The assessment is contrary to a previous statement by US Air Forces Central Commander Lt. Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, who said the Iran-backed rebels appeared to be running low on drones and anti-ship ballistic missiles.
🔶️ Earlier this year, Pentagon undersecretary for acquisition William LaPlante hinted that the cost of countering Houthi attacks in the Red Sea was increasing.

🔶️ The multi-year investigation into this conspiracy—dubbed “Operation Fortune Runner”—resulted in a superseding indictment returned on April 4 and unsealed on Monday charging a total of 24 defendants with one count of conspiracy to aid and abet the distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine, one count of conspiracy to launder monetary instruments, and one count of conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business.

They then allegedly concealed their drug trafficking proceeds and made the proceeds generated in the United States accessible to cartel members in Mexico and elsewhere.
