@PatriotFrontSightings » 🇫🇷 🇺🇸 Patriot Front activists sighted in Paris at a large nationalist march held in honor of the victims of anarchist assassinations. The march originally commemorated the death of Sébastien Deyzieu, a French patriot who died at a 1994 rally as a result of opposition, but has become a much larger affair as many nationalists from a broad selection of European nations join in the demonstration to honor the fallen brothers of their own nation's causes. This year's manifestation gathered some 800 nationalists.

PF's representatives are present at the march in support of the committee which organizes the event (C9M), and some can be seen at the front of the column documenting the action. One patriotic videographer is accosted by an African woman who seems frustrated by her loud mouth's inability to suppress the display of national identity. The video has almost three million views as of this writing.

A journalist viewing the march says, "The connections between the French Active Clubs and the fascists of the Patriot Front are known, but it is still incredible that the French press does not mention their presence in the C9M, because this white supremacist group is one of the most dangerous in the United States." The journalist fails to detail how exactly the organization is dangerous, as is the norm in America. In spite of the same slanders in a different country, activists will continue to build bonds and gather wisdom from the nationalist movements of Europe.

🇪🇸🇪🇸 For the first time since the 1980s, Catalonia does not have a separatist majority in its regional parliament, so the future coalition will have to follow ideological lines rather than separatist-unionist lines.

The PSC, pro-Spanish socialists, won the biggest share of votes, coming mostly from the ERC, the separatist socialist party.

To obtain a majority, the parties need 68 seats in the parliament and the only possible coalition would be PSC-ERC-Comuns, Comuns being a pro-Spanish communist party. The coalition would obtain exactly 68 seats.

The breakup of the Junts-ERC coalition in October 2022 forced the ERC to rely on support from the PSC and Comuns but this coalition fell apart too in March 2024 after failing to pass the yearly budget, causing the ERC to declare a snap election scheduled for May 12th.

After the Spanish Constitutional Crisis following the Catalan unilateral declaration of independence and its subsequent failure to materialize despite continued protests and clashes with the National Police Corps and the Spanish Civil Guard from 2018 to 2019, the Catalan independence movement lost traction. Add to it Spain's economic woes and the fact that the Junts-ERC ruled through part of the COVID-19 pandemic (2021-October 2022) which saw tourism and revenues decline, made sure to bury support for the Catalan independence movement which is at an all time low.
