Under the Camp David Accords, signed in 1978, the Philadelphi Corridor is a demilitarised zone. Since 2005, Egypt has exercised full control over the axis. If Israel’s military moved into the zone, this would violate the treaty.
However, I don't see the Egyptian side saying anything regarding it.
