April 12, 2021. Today, survivors' groups all across the network have wished to represent themselves and the channels they broadcast to using a jaguar image. This reminds us of work we've been doing and important things we've been learning about how to support the movement to safeguard Indigenous women and children. A major military occupation on the unhoused community descended upon Echo Park Lake on March 24 and 25. They touted it as a model to treat the Unhoused community. idk how to introduce myself, or if a name is ok.

my family and i live in northeast Texas.

i hope each one of you were able to get some fresh air and sunshine today - the weather was so beautiful. but at the same time, my heart was aching because of someone who needs extraction - so even as i listened to the breeze and the birds, i was also very much aware of a particular girl in big trouble, some 1300 miles away. her pain was (and is) loud to me, even though i cannot fully comprehend the specifics yet.

sorry if that makes no sense.

anyway, i have recently been helping some people, and now i have been introduced to y'all in this chat group.

some of you might have to be extra patient with me as i begin to understand your world.

i honestly feel like it is a big privilege, like now i am going to maybe see a little more of another layer of reality, so i will be better able to cry with people who are hurting so much...

...to see people who were invisible but absolutely deserve to be seen...

...you deserve to have someone cry WITH you even if you feel numb, and you deserve to have someone cry FOR you, when your own voice seems too weak.
