It's true any communities like these will have a variety of people but if some parts are dark and problematic, that should be better know

Part of why some people are afraid to pursue alternatives to mainstream is uncertainty and fear about what they might find I think

One idea is to develop better ways for people who are seeking, forced into, or otherwise interested in alternatives to mainstream to learn what is out there and possible

Including learning about how to be safe and establish expectations and get help if things go wrong

This reminds me of something we discussed a while back about establishing a support network so people feel safe hosting people seeking help

I think there is a distinct conversation that all our topics can be addressed through the lens of how not to disable one another.

there is a distinct something, something that is a word other than conversation, and it is also a conversation.

It seems quite crucial that in our culture and in our cultural chaos right now we must discuss the circumstances that create disability and how we each and all choose to undisable each other.
