Scammers have found a new way to make people drain their own wallets—without even sending a phishing link.
They uploaded YouTube tutorials showing people how to build an AI crypto trading bot using Claude.
People followed the tutorial themselves:
→ Copied the code
→ Deployed the smart contract
→ Funded it with their own wallets
→ Approved the transactions
But here’s the catch…
The “trading bot” had no trading logic at all.
It was designed to send the ETH straight to the scammers.
⚠️ Never blindly copy, deploy, or fund smart-contract code from a YouTube tutorial.
Read the code. Understand the transactions. Verify what the contract actually does before signing anything.
