#OnThisDay in #Pub history (1495) was the first written record of #Scotch #Whisky which appears in Exchequer Rolls of #Scotland, the distiller is named Friar John Cor. Scotch whisky (Scottish Gaelic: uisge-beatha na h-Alba;  - The Water of Life - often simply called Scotch)🥃

Now, I'm not one to ever look down on people over their finances, especially as I'm in no position to do so.

However, I'd rather drink no #Whisky, than cheap Whisky. This isn't snobbery, but class, taste & fact.

PS #Scotch is superior to other "whiskies"🥃
