REX has functions beyond increasing voter turnout; we plan to drive value to voters in other ways than just renting computational resources

This is the first time we are communicating but I can assure you that I am not frustrated or I am not worried about the long term success of the eosio.. I am just trying to bring up the weak areas of b1 team so that you can improve on communication with community members..
Blockchain technology has unlimited possibilities and it's the future of innovation.. But remember that promoting it and communicating with community members who trusted you is most important part..

We are proposing nothing that makes the rich richer, we will propose something that makes staked voters prosper more than transient holders than don’t stake

I think the thought process went like this “how do we solve scarcity of resources? REX! What else could this do? Ok voter apathy reduction... cool!”

Rex was born by the fact that several token holders didn’t need the resources their tokens had rights to. By creating REX it allows them to rent them to developers which don’t yet have a consistent need for resources or want to launch a project cheaply without buying tokens

My expectations are high for EOS; I’m extremely optimistic about where this is all going

We will recommend staking times increase, we kept it low initially because there was an uncompensated cost to voting and we didn’t want to further that issue

Renting resources to developers should not be contingent on voting for a more block producers than you can research

We spent a lot of time today looking at things and numbers from many different perspectives, including BP’s and backup BP’s. I believe the outcome will be a lot more value creation for all network participants.
