Breaking news: after delaying this announcement 2 months since the completion of their investigation, the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed no charges will be filed against the Arvada Police officer who wrongfully murdered Johnny Hurley - the Hero of Olde Town Arvada Square who jumped in to action to kill the cop killer/ potential mass murderer on June 21st.

The Arvada officer who shot and killed Johnny Hurley, a Good Samaritan who shot and killed a gunman in Olde Town Arvada in June, will not face criminal charges, the First Judicial DA announced.
Arvada Officer WILL NOT be charged in the Death of #johnnyhurley. As a Community, we must speak up against this injustice.
