Took me all morning because I needed frequent breaks from it, but I just got done watching Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer movie.
Let me preface this by saying it is a VERY hard watch. Because of the pro-choice movement this is an actual case that happened just 9 years ago many know nothing about it. It's about an abortion doctor who had been practicing illegal abortions in Philadelphia.
Why did I watch it if it's so horrific?
Because this is the stuff happening under our noses. Media ignored this case because of the pro-choice stances and how even though it was blatant murder, they didn't want it to effect women's choices. The henious practice of how abortions are performed, the collection of body parts that are sold on the black market.
Hes just one of many and fortunately he was caught and now serving life in prison.
To think of these crimes happening on the surface, it's very hard to think of the things done under ground... as awake as I am, I don't think I could see the horrors without puking.
I've done some research on this, and this may be talked about on afterdark this week. It's a hard subject, but we have to be fully aware of the crimes that are being committed even in towns we live in.
