Maybe it's overkill to create this channel, but every once in a while one of my bots or bot related projects gets an update and I thought it would be nice for the users to be able to get informed about it. And one channel per project was indeed too much overkill for me …
So here we are - don't expect too frequent updates, as I will probably only make announcements here when there are notable user facing changes 🙆🏼♂️

So, the first update to announce here is v2.0 of @TwitterStatusBot. What's new, you ask?
• Choose whether or not the bot stores the stickers you sent
• Delete specific stickers from the stored stickers
• Set a fall back profile picture - this will be used if you don't have a profile picture set or the bot can't access it due to your privacy settings.

Apparently v2.0 introduced a bug causing multiline Tweets to break. This has now been fixed with v2.0.1.
Another update for @TwitterStatusBot just went online. v2.1 uses a different way to create the stickers in inline mode, which should make the bot a bit more stable. Previously, this method was not feasible, as the resulting stickers were not visible on Apple devices. If this should be the case for you after the update, please inform me about it.

More updates for @TwitterStatusBot 🙆🏼♂️ There are two new settings:
• With /set_timezone you can now select a custom time zone for the time stamps at the bottom of the tweets. By default, UTC will be used.
• With /toggle_text_direction you can switch between left-to-right and right-to-left text alignment - useful for Arabic, Hebrew etc.

After a longer time of silence, I just updated @TwitterStatusBot to v20.0a0 of python-telegram-bot. This version is based on Pythons
asyncio module and I hope that this helps to stabilize @TwitterStatusBot.v20.x of
python-telegram-bot has recently matured and accordingly, @TwitterStatusBot was updated to v20.0. This update also fixes a bug with /toggle_store_sticker.
