The original coin may not be released, due to the market changes are being created to protect the investors/supporters, a new blockchain development has moved to prime priority. With this new development, smart contract, speed, flexibility, gas fees, are part of the decisions. There are many issues with building a token on BSC and how things plan out. Unfortunately there are scams out there that completely put bad names on coins, majority of new coins put out are a short term idea to make the creators a little profit and they bounce.
