A #BullMarket is where conditions of the economy are generally favorable, the market is on the rise, share prices are increasing and #investors typically believe the upward trend will continue.
Conversely, in a #BearMarket, the economy is receding, the market is in decline, share prices are dropping and investors typically believe the downward trend will continue. A “true bear market” is one that has fallen 20%+ from recent highs.
