Sahra Rezaei, an Afghan student of journalism at Allameh University, has been missing in Tehran since October 18th, after she called her family from university. Security forces have so far refused to respond to her family about her arrest and where she is being held.

Sahra is suffering from heart disease and her life is in danger.

Who is Jafar Ebrahimi, and why was he imprisoned?

Jafar is a member of the Iranian Teacher Trade Association (ITTA).

He is concerned with liberating children's thinking and making them aware. He attaches significant importance to children and their thoughts and says, "One must have the imagination to imagine a better life and future for creating a better world."

He strives to achieve free, fair, equal, and quality education for all. In his opinion, providing such conditions for our children is not far from reality.

According to Jafar Ebrahimi, instead of top-down rules and directives, the school should be managed with the help of the teachers' council, the student council, and the parents' and teachers' association. In other words, children's education should not merely serve the market's needs but also allow students to determine their future. These three institutions already exist in schools today, but they are reactionary and anti-student.

This is how Jafar should be remembered: "Teacher of the Oppressed" and "Emancipation teacher".

November 9th
It is the 40th day of the martyrdom of #Khodanour_lajai who dances and sings. The anti-humanists once arrested him before his martyrdom and chained him to a pillar in the city for the crime of singing. When he was released from prison, he went to the street for the protesting #Bloody_Friday_of_Zahedan to shout for dancing and singing. Like dozens of other Baloch people that day, he received no response but bullets.

While the attention is focused on the protests and repression of the Islamic Republic, the fascists are locking up thousands of Afghan immigrants in camps in Tehran and Mashhad in inhumane conditions and deporting them in groups of hundreds of people.
According to "Herana" report, on October 2nd and 3nd, 3,633 Afghan immigrants were deported to Afghanistan from the border of Iran with mistreatment and extortion.
It is our responsibility to not be silent about this and to be the voice of our Afghan sisters and brothers who have faced such extremely racist behavior after years of humiliation and systematic discrimination;
Especially, since the beginning of the protests, Khamenei's forces have killed or kidnapped several Afghan citizens/non-citizens who went to the streets together with other revolutionaries against the ruling oppression.

Collective statement of Evin women prisoners protesting the situation of Leila Hosseinzadeh

We in Evin prison are worried about Leila Hoseinzadeh's health condition, depriving her of contact with family and her continued detention in Adel Abad Shiraz prison, as well as her hunger strike.
We believe those in charge of the judiciary, prisons organization, and security institutions do not even deserve an extra word of shame. As confirmed by the medical documents and even the medical examiner attached to the Islamic Republic, a vote was taken not to tolerate the imprisonment of Leila Hosseinzadeh. Now her life is in danger more than ever.
Our dear Leila, the voice of your resistance reached us from Adel Abad prison. Just as when you shouted, "The story is over" from the university. Your voice has been heard and is with us. Your voice is the voice of protest in Tehran, Khuzestan, Kurdistan and the voice of Baloch men and women. You are right that there is no border between resistance outside and inside the prison. Yalda Aghafazli, 19 years old, was arrested on October 26 during Tehran's protests in Eghelab Square. The security forces took her to the women's prison of Qarchak in Varamin.

She embarked on a hunger strike to protest the inhuman conditions of the Qarchak prison. Although Yalda never expressed remorse nor admitted any of the false charges, she was released on November 6.

She committed suicide four days after her release, and on November 12, she died at Tehran Clinic Hospital.

The Islamic Republic regime, the security institutions, the judicial system, and the prison affairs organization are responsible for Yalda's death. Khamenei is directly responsible for the deaths of libertarian protesters. Their right to life and freedom is threatened every single day by repression, systematic violence, security files, and mental and physical torture inside and outside of prisons.

Students' demonstration of Faculty of Social Sciences at Allamah University.
The gathering of the students started with the singing the women's equality anthem, while the central campus securities were talking to the students in the lobby and threatening them that if the gathering is held today, security forces will be sent tomorrow to arrest them.

No monarchy, no Islamic leadership, only equality and democracy
We are the children of workers, we stay with them
Our silence is slavery, resistance is life
At the end, the rally ended by hanging the names of the martyrs of the nationwide uprising on the branches of the tree in the academy yard.

We lose as separate nations, united as a class we shall win

We are witnessing a diplomatic miracle (!) as the sworn enemies, Iran and Turkey, representing the axis of resistance and NATO imperialism, came together in their mission to crush people's uprisings in the middle east and end their hopes for a better future. As Turkish and Iranian armies started their simultaneous assaults against Kurds of Iran, Iraq and Syria, we are reminded once more that the animosity between bourgeois states is always inferior to their common hatred of revolution. The correct lesson is for us to apply the same principle, unite under the banner of the working classes of all nations in the region and fight together against all the repressive and reactionary states in the region.

Baloch women against tyranny and Reaction
November 25, 2022
Consider these few seconds of the presence of the Baloch women in the demonstration as a great victory for the Jina's Revolution.
Maybe only the Baloch woman herself knows the historical importance of these few seconds.
Remember that on the bloody Friday of Zahedan, it was only announced that a woman's name was among the martyrs' names. It took 14 days to reveal Hasti Naroei's name and 53 days to publish her picture and age.
The revolution should be understood from these outcries of Baloch women. Women who have blossomed after years of oppression and namelessness, and today women stand together in the streets testifying to one thing:
It is not the desire of Baloch women to stay in the dark corner of the house…
It is the disgraceful wish of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the opposition parties outside Iran to not see Baloch women and men... to call them separatists, to say that if there is oppression against women, it is not imported from outside.
Listen to the voices of Baloch women ... This is a revolution that has happened and cannot be cleared even if the mainstream media does not cover it.

Zeynab Jalalian, born March 10, 1982, a Kurdish political activist, was initially sentenced to death in 2008. In 2011, her sentence was reduced to life imprisonment.

She has spent the last 15 years without a single day out of prison, with no break. As well as needing urgent eye surgery, she is in critical need of care for severe injuries to the heart and digestive system, yet has been denied the right to medical treatment.

Over the past 15 years, Zeynab Jalalian has been transferred from Khoy Prison to five other prisons in Iran, including Dizel Abad Prison (in Kermanshah), Qarchak, Evin, Central Prison of Kerman, and now she is kept in Yazd Prison.

Moreover, she has been denied the right to appeal her current conviction. Along with the previous made-up cases against her, there are now new security cases being made up against her, adding to the already existing tortures and violent repressions.

Zeynab Jalalian is a strong and firm mountain. So, speaking up against oppression and discrimination against her will only highlight her strength and resistance.

It took them just a month between putting him on show trial and killing him this morning. #MohsenShekari, 23-year-old, is the first victim of the death penalty, on the 83rd day of the current protests in Iran. He was executed for the crime of blocking the street.

A 16-year-old girl named Sonia Sharifi has been accused of “enmity against God” (Moharebeh) in Ilam, western Iran, during the past few days.
Security forces arrested Sonia at her grandmother’s house in Abdanan, Ilam province, on 19 November.
She is currently held in Ilam's juvenile detention center.
The security forces severely beat Sonia during her arrest.
Security interrogators forced her to “confess” about making Molotov cocktails and writing slogans.
The family did not receive a detailed answer regarding the status of their daughter's case from Abdanan and Ilam's Public Prosecutor's Office.
During this period they refused to provide the adolescent girl with legal counsel and said she was accused of “enmity against God” (Moharebeh).

Why Shirin Neshat is a problem for women's struggle in Iran?

Gladstone Gallery (NY) exhibits Neshat’s recent works The Fury. Neshat has a long history in creating Chador-art, works which depict women in Iran exactly as the Iranian state wishes them to be. Neshat’s representation of women is a problem because Iranian women have to fight on one hand against the state-sanctioned patriarchy inside Iran and on the other hand against the image of them created in the West.
How much time and energy women in Iran have to use to liberate themselves from tags, identities, roles, and expectations Neshat ascribe them in her works?
While she is flaneuring around in art spaces in the cloths she prefers to wear, women in her art are confined in veils (previous works). She victimizes and objectifies female bodies.
The below work is a slap in the face for the brave women in Iran who are fighting on streets against a brutal regime.
Neshat is orientalist and anti-feminist who has consumed bodies of Iranian women to get rich and famous in the West.
