OPEC+ just dealt a huge blow to Biden and the West, cutting oil production by 2 million barrels per day. Now Biden's exhaustion of the strategic petroleum reserve is nullified and American voters will see gas prices rise dramatically just before the midterms. Saudi Arabia is firmly in the Russia & China sphere as of today.

Fun story from a friend:
"About 20 years ago, mortgages were running at about 8.5%. My friend however got one at 5%, which was unheard of at the time. I wanted in on this. He explained that he belonged to a credit union for government workers. The next day, I stopped by their local office to find out the requirements of membership. A lending officer explained that I needed a paycheck from a government agency or a direct family member who was already a member of the bank. I didn't have either. He shrugged and said there was simply no other way. I took it as a challenge.
Being self-employed, I knew I could make some time to do this. I looked in the classifieds and found a few local low-level government jobs. A job with the county dog catcher caught my eye. It paid just about nothing, but it seemed the best candidate. I interviewed the next week and got the job. I showed up a few days later officially a "shelter helper." The job consisted of cleaning the shelter. I literally picked up dog crap for 8 hours. I actually love dogs, so it was kinda cool getting to hang out with them. What really surprised me however was how absolutely condescending everyone was, especially the people in the office. It really caught me off guard. I've been self employed for almost my entire adult life, and I'm not used to that whole "pecking order" dynamic. Apparently, the position I had taken was considered the absolute bottom there. Nonetheless, that was my first and last day. At the end of the day, I politely told them the job wasn't for me and to just mail me my check. A week later my paltry check of about 36 dollars got me into that credit union, and I was able to refinance a $250k loan from 8.5% to 5%, saving me about $500 a month."

Couple of interesting charts. The DXY (dollar relative strength index) is almost a mirror image of BTC.
This paper argues convincingly that humanity has ~75% chance of creating an artificial general intelligence (AGI) by 2032.

This is a good start but it needs to go further. States should ban fund managers that use ideological tests for investments (ESG). Force BlackRock to recant their antiwhite hate in order to have access to millions of retirement accounts in each individual state.

South Carolina to divest $200 million from BlackRock over 'leftist world view'
South Carolina will be divesting all of its BlackRock holdings by the end of the year, the latest instance of backlash from Republican state officials over the investment firm's stance on fossil fuels.
