Normally I don't post about Bitcoin being used for regular transactions, but this is a pretty big win. It'll start out as opt-in only, but I suspect if they can make it reliable they'll automatically enable it for all merchants using Square.

Here's an interesting chart showing the dollar cost of electricity needed to mine a single Bitcoin vs how much that Bitcoin is worth (over/under) the electricity cost. The vertical black lines show where the ratio is particularly low, and that happens to coincide with really good buying opportunities.

This is bullish for all risk assets.
