Looks like the US's efforts to crash the Russian currency have failed. The ruble is now almost fully recovered since the war started. π€£ Putin saved his currency by (effectively) backing it with oil and gold. Europe is forced to buy rubles in order to get oil, which creates demand. And Russia has promised to purchase gold at a fixed price (in rubles). Two powerful support brackets to sustain a currency. Still not as good as bitcoin's mathematical assurance, but much better than the dollar.
This is Chris Larsen, the guy behind Ripple. He's currently behind a big campaign to force Bitcoin into "proof of stake", because that would weaken it against government attacks. I don't have confirmation, but he *looks* very J'ish to me, and certainly sounds it.

Taxing billionaires is NOT complex or difficult, but the Biden admin is trying to create the impression it is by proposing an idiotic tax on "unrealized capital gains". Such a tax would force billionaires to sell shares of their companies every year, which artificially depresses the share value and reduces their stake. The elites *know* this is idiotic, which is why they proposed it - they know it won't actually be passed/implemented and it's probably not even constitutional.
The correct way to tax billionaires is simple: a progressive capital gains tax. Currently, capital gains tax rate is the same % for everyone, whether you sell $30 of Bitcoin or $100M of Microsoft shares. With a progressive cap gains tax, billionaires would be hit with a 45% rate on every stock/crypto profit exceeding $350,000. Good luck finding a loophole around that.
