👉Yesterday afternoon session was a landmark for our trainees. This is because Business Incubation and Techno Entrepreneurship Center-Bitec fruits were there to share their journey.
👉RAY cosmetics and Agelgil eco-packaging were shared their two years journey in building their aspiring company.
👉The trainees were inspired by young entrepreneur with a refined ideas. A question and answer program has made tge session fruitful.

👉He was discussed the importance of Emotional Intelligence for career success. He has started his speech mentioning different intelligence namely Spiritual, Spacial, Emotional, Physical and IQ. He said IQ has been over-marketed and depends on culture of the society as well. Saying this he goes dive to Emotional Intelligence and its content. EQ can be illustrated in four main streams called Self awareness, Social Awareness, Self management and Relationship Management. He has mentioned with some bad examples that leads us a critical turnout in career path.
👉There were more questions raised from participants that can create clarity with the ideas and contents of the presentation.

BiT-Career Development Center has delivered training for grade 12 SoS Hermann Gmeiner School students

As a community service, BiT-Career Development Center has delivered training for grade 12 SoS Hermann Gmeiner School students from December 12 to 16, 2022 at Jan-Moscov Library. The training is titled "Navigating career path, Foundational Skills, Digital Literacy (Internet programming) and Entrepreneur mindset ”.
The training is delivered by Mr. Habtamu Alemayehu, BiT-Career Development Center Coordinator. The center has received training regarding the topics right from the Ministry of Labour and Skills as a master trainer program. There were about 30 trainees for the first round and 120 students were registered to take the training from Ghion, Tana Hayk, and Fasilo Preparatory School.
According to the Coordinator's Explanation, the aim of the training was to come up with how students navigate their career path, approach complex challenges, and improve teamwork skill, collaboration skill, creativity, and communication. The training also has a SWOT analysis, filled with Johari's window, personality tests, and career planning activities also the trainees took online career aptitude tests and emotional intelligence tests to give them an insight into a different perspective to navigate their career path.
Following the Entrepreneur mindset module, there was an experience-sharing program from BiTec entrepreneurs including Agelgil Eco-Packaging and RAY Cosmetics. By the end of the training day, there was a guest speaker from Educational Psychology to discuss the importance of Emotional Intelligence for Career Success. Then, Mr. Bantelay Sintayehu, Director for UIL-CS, gives a closing remark and recognizes the center as well as guest speakers. Finally, the Coordinator expressed that there would be three more rounds ahead of time.
