Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University (BiT-BDU), organized an informational session through its Student Success Centers:
🔹 English Language Improvement Center (ELIC)
🔹 Career Development Center (CDC)
🔹 Business Incubation and Techno Entrepreneurship Center (BiTec)
The session aimed to provide students with a clear understanding of the services and objectives of these centers.
✨ We at the Career Development Center (CDC) are proud to have been part of this impactful program, collaborating with our colleagues to support and inspire students on their academic and professional journeys.
Key Highlights:
📌 Dr. Amare Tesfie, Director of the Academic Quality Assurance and Enhancement Office, emphasized the crucial role of these centers in enhancing communication skills, career readiness, and innovation.
📌 Dr. Sisay Ayalew, Coordinator of ELIC, showcased efforts to develop English language skills for students, instructors, and staff.
📌 Mr. Henok Gashaw, Coordinator of CDC, presented our services, including career counseling, resume writing, soft skills training, and digital literacy, encouraging students to unlock their potential.
📌 Mr. Fasil Tariku, Coordinator of BiTec, highlighted mentorship opportunities, skill development, and entrepreneurial support to inspire students to launch their ventures.
📌 CDC Ambassador Melat Tesfaye shared an inspiring testimony on how her experience with CDC transformed her perspective on career development and unlocked new opportunities for her future.
💡 The program concluded with a call for students to actively engage with the centers and make the most of the opportunities available.

📢 Internship Candidate Assessment Underway!
As BiT CDC, we are honored to host the Internship Candidate Assessment as part of the Dereja Intervention program. This important initiative is currently taking place at the JanMoscow Library, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, and will continue throughout November 29 and 30.
We are excited to see the outstanding efforts of our candidates during this assessment and contribute to empowering future professionals.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Effective Presentation Skills Training series! 🎉 Today, we kicked off with the Software Engineering students in a highly engaging session.
At the end of the session, participants presented on their selected topics, both individually and in groups, for 5 minutes each. Through this activity, they not only practiced their presentation skills but also learned valuable lessons in time management.
