Professor Essey Kebede, Academic Vice President of Bahir Dar University, emphasized the institution’s prestigious status as one of the oldest and pioneering research universities in Ethiopia.  He underscored the importance of equipping students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes crucial for their work efficiency. The A/Vice President stated that the job fair would provide a valuable opportunity for both employers and graduates to connect. Finally, he assured attendees that graduates from Bahir Dar University would be well-qualified and demonstrate superior job performance.

Dr. Girma Asmamaw, HR and Administration Manager of Info Mind Solution, delivered key note speech. As he articulates that the company, along with its partners, had organized the 2016 job fair to facilitate the employment of new graduates who met the requirements set by participating employers. The event was designed to directly connect students graduating from universities with potential employers.

Following, the expo visit and the BDU graduating classes' CV submission to the employer companies was gone.

It has been reported that 51 companies and over 1500 graduates attended the expo by today. It is a great turnout from the previous years.
