BiT-CDC Celebrates Successful Completion of Full Stack Development Training Program in Collaboration with Minab IT Solution

We are thrilled to announce that BiT-CDC has successfully completed a three-month Full Stack Development Training program in collaboration with Minab IT Solution PLC. The graduation ceremony was a momentous occasion, marked by an inspiring speech from Dr. Amare Tesfie, Director for Academic Quality Assurance and Enhancement. He emphasized the importance of skills, attitude, and knowledge in today's job market and lauded Minab IT Solution for their commitment and dedication to fulfilling their social responsibility.
This successful collaboration marks the third time BiT-CDC has partnered with Minab IT Solution to deliver this crucial skill-based program. As industries undergo significant need in marketable skill, Mr. Habtamu Alemayehu, Coordinator for BiT-CDC, highlighted the impact on skill requirements for university students. With evolving job roles, it is imperative to develop new technological and digital skills to stay competitive.
Recognizing the challenge of adequately preparing students for future employment, BiT-CDC introduced a skill-based training and competition program in early 2022. The Full Stack Development Training is one such initiative aimed at bridging the gap between formal education and market demands. Natnael Haylemariam, a graduate of the 2023 cohort and an IT department student, shared his experience and showcased his projects.
The training program began with 120 students enrolling for homework assignments. Trainers from Minab Tech Solution provided three months of intensive training to selected trainees in Back-end development, Front-end development, and Mobile app development. Out of the initial 46 trainees, 38 successfully completed the training.
The comprehensive training covered a wide range of topics, including single file components, component depth, reusability, routing, Vue, npm package manager, CSS frameworks, tailwind setup, HTML and CSS recap, JavaScript design, front-end design, Figma, Router and local storage, GraphQL, single-page apps, Vue.js, database and DBMS, Docker and Hasura, Dart programming, Flutter introduction, setting up Flutter SDK, widgets, network requests, data persistence, state management, and tools.
Mr. Kaleab Mezgebu, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, announced that two or three trainees would be recruited for junior full stack developer opportunities, providing a valuable stepping stone for their professional careers.
The training concluded with heartfelt expressions of gratitude from the trainees for the invaluable experience and opportunities provided. Certificates and recognition were awarded to Minab IT Solution in acknowledgment of their significant role in the professional growth of the students.
