When doubts attack you shortly after performing Salah or wudoo’ (ablution), then turn away from and pay no attention to them. Be sure that both your Salah and Wudu’ are valid. If doubts haunt you during performing Salah whether you have performed three or four Rak’ahs, then consider that you have just performed three Rak’ahs, complete the Salah and then perform Sujud-as-Sahw (Prostration Of Forgetfulness) twice before saying Tasleem (salutations of peace before ending the prayer), because the Prophet (ṣall Allahu ʿalayhi wa-’ālihi wa-sallam) ordered such a person who happened to forget something in Salah to do what we have just mentioned.

Imam Shafi’ee (rahimahullah) used to say,

I love to send plenty of salat (salutations) upon the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) all the time and I love it more so on the day of Jumu’ah.

أكثِروا من الصَّلاة على النبي ﷺ

*اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ علَى مُحَمَّدٍ وعلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كما صَلَّيْتَ علَى إبْرَاهِيمَ وعلَى آلِ إبْرَاهِيمَ؛ إنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ،*

*اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ علَى مُحَمَّدٍ وعلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كما بَارَكْتَ علَى إبْرَاهِيمَ وعلَى آلِ إبْرَاهِيمَ؛ إنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ.*

Shaykh bin baaz rahimahullah farmate hain,

*Yeh duniya koi mushtaqil thikana ya hamesha rhne ki jagah nahi hai, blki ye ek aarzi guzargaah hai, Aakhirat ki taraf ek safar hai, Aur Aakhirat ki tayyari ka maqam hai. Is liye iske rhne walon par lazim hai ke wo Allah ke Ahkamaat ki itaat aur uske ibadat ke zariye uski ibadat karen.*

▪️Sheikh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

*"This world is not a permanent abode or a place of eternal stay, but rather it is a transitional abode, a journey towards the Hereafter, and a preparation for the Hereafter. Therefore, it is incumbent upon its inhabitants to prepare themselves for the Hereafter by obeying the commands of Allah and worshipping Him."*

Imam Ash-Shafi’i (رحمه الله):

أظْلم الظالمينَ لنفسِهِ مَن تواضع لمن لا يكرمه، ورغِب في موّدةٍ مَن لا ينفعه.

The most unjust person to himself is the one who humbles himself before someone who does not honour him and seeks the affection of someone who does not benefit him.

[Ṭabaqāt Ibn As-Subkī: 2/100]

Kaʿb (رحمه الله) said:

ما خرج رجل في طلب علم إلا ضمن اللّه السماوات والأرض رزقه

Whenever a man goes out seeking knowledge, Allah guarantees his provision through the heavens and the earth.

Who does Allaah love?

Shaikh Falaah ibn Ismaa’eel al-Mundakar:

• He loves the doers of good.
• He loves the one who fears Him.
• He loves the steadfastly patient ones.
• He loves those who place their reliance upon Him.
• He loves those who act justly.
• He loves those who perform jihaad in His path.
• He loves those who repent and those who purify themselves.

Whoever reflects upon the dunya and hereafter will know that he cannot attain one of them except with difficulty,
