- BREAKING - Iran has closed the border with Turkmenistan

Iran has closed its border with #Turkmenistan since October 4, reports Turkmen.news. It is noted that Turkmen entrepreneurs, pilgrims and people traveling to a neighboring country for treatment are turned away at the border. Iranian trucks are also not allowed through two checkpoints.

The reasons for the border closure are not exactly known. According to one version, this is due to tensions between #Iran and #Israel.
