The attack seems to be likely carried out with a rather common 7.62x39mm AK(S) assault rifle.

Fighters seemingly used a common 7.62x39mm Type 56/AKM assault rifle to carry out the attack. Allegedly 2 Police killed.

#Iran 🇮🇷: Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani (member of Assembly of Experts for Leadership and former Imam of #Zahedan) was killed in #Babolsar, #Mazandaran.

The attacker, who reported to be a guard in the bank, apparently used a domestic 9x19mm 'Tondar' (MP5A3 clone) submachine gun.
