He appears to be carrying a suppressed #Turkish MKE T-94A2 carbine —which is a civilian/semi-auto weapon and can be easily confused with military MP5A3 SMGs.

The crew of the ship has been held hostage for several days by alleged UA militias who appear to be armed with common AK-74 & AKS-74 rifles.
