#Iran 🇮🇷 (#Sistan & #Balochistan) "Unknown Maxars (Tigers) of Baluchistan" carried out an attack on a vehicle belonging to #IRGC near #Shafipur Base in #Zahedan.

The attack seems to be likely carried out with a rather common 7.62x39mm AK(S) assault rifle.

In 2023, Baloch nationalist groups intensified assaults on Pakistani security forces, triggering a corresponding escalation in attacks by Sunni Jihadist groups on Iranian security forces in the Balochistan province.

The likes of #BLA & #BRAS finds shelter in Iranian Balochistan meanwhile the Sunni Jihadist groups find shelter in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

Remember, Sunni Jihadists and Nationalist Baloch groups routinely clash with each other in both provinces.

The likes of Jaish & Furqan groups accuse #BRA, #BLA & #BLF of kidnapping their fighters and handing over to #IRGC which has resulted in fierce clashes between the two over the years.

Famous #IRGC commanders such as Soleimani have threatened Pakistan before of surgical strikes when Sunni Baloch insurgency used to be in its prime, though the situation never became too volatile between two neighbouring countries except harsh statements.

#Iran (#Sistan and #Baluchestan) 🇮🇷: "Jaish al-Adl" (JaA) militants carried out armed attacks and captured a warehouse of #IRGC in the city of #Rask.

As a result 130mm #Chinese 🇨🇳 Type 59 projectiles and possible #NorthKorea/#DPRK-made 🇰🇵 HE-FRAG projectile were seized by JaA.
