A State Department spokesperson told Clarín that they hope to cooperate with the next government. Milei however creates uncertainty in Washington and Wall Street with Argentine stocks taking a dip amongst the surprising results which saw ALL polls being wrong.
🇦🇷🇺🇸
Javier Milei assured that he was contacted by the IMF after his Sunday victory and in the next few days they will meet:
"They contacted my sister to have a meeting, we are seeing how to face it", said the presidential candidate who is currently leading. "Likewise, there is an issue that is not minor: the program that we propose is much tougher than that of the Fund, it should not be a problem," he added.

🇰🇵🇰🇷 Kim Jong Un issues ‘military action’ plan against South Korea

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un convened military officials to discuss “offensive” battle plans and “major military actions” against South Korea. On the photos published by North Korean media he is seen pointing at the map of the Republic of Korea.

Kim said the military should make “full preparations for war” while blaming the “aggravators of the situation disturbing peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.”

The rhetoric about attack plans comes after the DPRK defense chief warned last month that North Korea “could” carry out a preemptive nuclear strike against the US if Washington sends nuclear assets to South Korea again, but explained this depends on whether Pyongyang decides an incoming attack is imminent.

🇧🇷💥🔌BRAZIL BLACKOUT: Tuesday's blackout, which is the largest in the past 14 years, increases the favorable pressure for the privatization of Eletrobras; power outage affected nearly all states in Brazil.

The national power outage that occurred on Tuesday (15), affecting more than 20 Brazilian states, has increased the pressure in favor of the privatization of Eletrobras.

Implemented during Jair Bolsonaro's administration of the PL party, this measure has faced questioning and opposition since President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) took office at the Palácio do Planalto, and it has come under scrutiny following today's failures.

However, an excess of wind and solar energy in the system might be one of the reasons for the blackout, along with the overload on Eletrobras' transmission line in Ceará, sources say.
