I gave a sneak-peak of my soon-to-be-published Kalam 3.0 to a packed audience in the Tabari Conference Room at the International Islamic University of Malaysia. I explained William Lane Craig's modern formulation of the Kalam Cosmological Argument, how it has been changed from the Real Kalam Argument because of Craig's weak materialism (which is a result of his Christianity), how it can be restored to its original Islamic formulation, and how that puts Muslims in a uniquely powerful philosophical position to respond to atheism, scientific materialism, and quantum physics.

I was blessed to meet with Dr. Osman Bakar, the Shaykh al-Kulliyyah of ISTAC, a prestigious postgraduate institution that produces academic scholarship from within an Islamic worldview. We discussed the importance of kalam and science. He said that the origin of kalam is the Quran, which makes rational arguments against its opponents. Dr. Osman eloquently described kalam's Quranic origins by saying that it is "God's arguments against the infidels" (a quote from his book "Tawhid and Science"). I gifted him a copy of the "Why Islam is True" textbook, which is also based on Quranic arguments. May Allah Most High reward him and grant him every success.

I had a wonderful conversation today on Al Hijrah TV with host Hanan Abdul Rahman. We had an engaging conversation about how to save the iman of our children, which led us to talk about how the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) created a safe-space for youth to voice their doubts, how science leads to atheism, how Why Islam is True will come on-the-ground here in Malaysia, and even durian ice-cream! (If you don't know what durian is, then you need to come to Malaysia, too!)
I taught a full-day teacher-training intensive at Alhamra Integrated School in Malaysia. We started early. By the end of the day everyone had experienced the transformative power of being able to see for themselves with clear rational Quranic arguments that Islam is true. Alhamdulillah, it was a packed audience of schoolteachers, maktab teachers, social media influencers, da'ees, and university students. I was worried because I thought people here would be shy, but they were so engaged in their group discussions on how to respond to arguments against Islam that they didn't want to stop!
Last night was special. My friend Irfan took us to visit a small community of Hindu converts to Islam. Islam spread in this community through the work of the most dedicated da'ee I have met in my entire life. His name is Kumaran. He has lived in this community for ten years, helping them come out of poverty by learning how to become self-sufficient through farming and herding. He helps everyone. The elderly ladies ask him, "Are you helping us because you want us to become Muslim?" He says, "No, I'm helping you because I *am* Muslim." Through his kindness people flock to him to take their shahadah without him having to say anything at all. This is a neglected, off-the-radar, impoverished, extremely poor community.
I encourage everyone to learn more about Kumaran and his excellent work, to support him, and to visit our brothers and sisters here for the sake of Allah Most High. They are looking for our love and concern for them. They were so touched by my visit that two of them converted after a short talk that I gave about the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace).

May Allah Most High bless and reward Mulla Zaman, and make him and his work a means for bringing rational evidence-based certainty to millions of Muslims here in Malaysia.
