#POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW POSITION School of #Civil and #Environmental #Engineering, #Georgia_Institute_of_Technology. We have an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow. The position’s primary area of research will focus on origami engineering with emphasis on #metamaterials, #adaptive_structures, #optimization, and #additive_manufacturing. Expertise is particularly sought in rapid prototyping, #multiphysics modeling, and #nonlinear #multiscale #finite_element_analysis and #design. The initial appointment is for one year with potential to extend, subject to the availability of funds. The candidate will have a lot of intellectual freedom and is expected to be a self-motivated, independent thinker, and possess a proven record of high-quality publications.
A #doctoral_degree in engineering and/or #applied_mathematics is required. We will be reviewing applications immediately on receipt. Interested candidates should forward their #CV, two representative publications and contact details of at least two references to:
